REET – ACROBOTIK [08/08/2026]
Reet is Acrobotik’s fourth album with a full digital release on CEL36 Records from 8th August 2026 on all major streaming and download platforms.
“This started out two years ago as an EP with just three vaguely eastern sounding straight housey tracks I was going to release, then I made ‘Loot’ which set it off into something else. I’ve always used samples for vocals and there’s loads on my last album, but with Loot I asked singer Alyssa Jane to do her own thing on it, a collaboration rather than giving direction. This made me think ‘Reet, I’m gona to do a full album where everything including vocals are original’. I nearly achieved it but ‘Strange Lagoon’ has the eastern vocal sample left in as it just fits so well. A few tracks are experimental breaks stuff, I like the idea of danceable and just for listening stuff being contrasted together but still working as part of a whole. I’m a quite yo-yo person so it reflects who I am a bit.”– Brian Feral (Acrobotik)
“the ten masterful tracks contained on this release are a pure joy, often surprising, and filled with a real sense of wonder.”– The Crack Magazine (full review)
